Montagne Jeunesse Amore Rose Face Mask Review

Montagne Jeunesse face masks are always something I pick up and use in my pamper sessions. From the cute and informative packaging to the lovely range of natural ingredients, it's a favourite for many!

Product description
Calming oils from Damask Rose petals and deep cleansing Marula Oil combine to hydrate and smooth the skin. Shea Butter and Cocoa butter moisturise and deeply cleanse to leave skin soft and silky smooth. Use weekly.
Featured ingredients
Shea Butter from Ghana and Cocoa Butter from North Africa & South America, provide an ultra deep cleansing formula. Both rich emollients used for their moisturizing and soothing properties.
A natural moisturising agent hydrates & smoothes skin. Fragranced with a blend of Rose Geranium and Damask Rose essential oils, harvested in Asia and North Africa.

I spotted this in my local Poundland and I instantly added this to my basket. This particular sachet had two masks! I have never tried either of the masks so I was excited to try it.
I opted for the Amore Rose mask for my pamper session and it truly was such a pleasant mask, I actually liked it so much that I will definitely go and buy the full sized sachet. I can also confirm that it's added to my Montagne Jeunesse favourites, now here's why...
Once I opened the packet, the smell of rose was unleashed and the scent was just like walking through a rose garden! If you prefer/love rose scents then this is definitely one to pick up! The scent was instantly uplifting and smelt very natural too!
The mask itself is clay and the formulation was rather creamy which made it a breeze to apply and rinse off. Shea butter, cocoa butter and Marula oil are also the main ingredients in this deep cleansing concoction. I honestly feel that this has made my mask wearing experience a lot more comfortable since some clay masks can really tighten and feel very uncomfortable but this one was actually ok!
I kept this on for a good 30-40 minutes since my skin really needed some TLC, removing the mask was so so easy, it did feel very firm once dried but as soon as I started to wash my face, the mask instantly felt like it melted away if that makes any sense, some masks need scrubbing and a lot of elbow grease to remove but not this one.
My skin felt and looked renewed, hydrated and so bright! My skin also became a lot more smoother and cleaner and well, it became the perfect base for applying my make-up *hides away*

I definitely recommend trying this one out when your on your next trip to Boots or Poundland because I know I will be picking one a few up!

What's your favourite Montagne Jeunesse face mask?

Lush Honey Bee Bath Bomb Review

Another day, another Lush bath. I picked up a few bath products from Lush recently and you can view it here
I decided to try out the Honey Bee bath bomb and I have no idea why I didn't try this one out earlier. This is from the permanent range and I honestly think this one is so overlooked because it actually was a fantastic bath bomb that ticked all of the boxes for me.

Product description:
A good soak in a Honey Bee bath will soothe and cleanse the skin thanks to its wonder trio of honey, aloe vera, and rhassoul mud, a clay mined near Morocco’s Atlas Mountains. Honey is a wonder ingredient that soothes, retains moisture and is antiseptic, and we add plenty of cooling aloe vera, too. Rhassoul mud has natural cleansing properties, and also helps condition and soften the skin.

Compared to the other bath bombs in Lush, this one is pretty simple and basic. There are no fancy colours, glitter or any kind of gimmick.
That's what I like about this though. Even though I mostly go for those types of fun products, It's sometimes nice to go for ones that are more about the skin benefitting ingredients than having crazy coloured bath water.
This simple bath bomb still looks cute! The brown swirled in with dashes of pastel yellow, matches the theme of a honey product perfectly.
This smells incredible too! This has a very honey/toffee scent which is so comforting. I think this is one bath bomb that you could actually smell throughout the bath because some scents I have found, faded away or just disappeared but this one remained for almost an hour!
Once I popped this into the water, the bath bomb started fizzing away and then started releasing some skin-loving essential oils. The bath itself was very soothing to the skin as well as being comforting. Perfect before bedtime.
This would go so well with the Honey I Washed The Kids Soap because then you'll smell like a bag of toffees!
The featured ingredient in this product is Rhassoul mud and combined with the other ingredients, it will ensure that your bath is foamy, milky and oh-so moisturising to soothe troublesome and irritated skin. My one lil downside is that the mud leaves residue at the bottom of the tub, I think that it doesn't completely dissolve so you will have to rinse the tub once your done.

Have you tried this out before?

Aerin Lip Conditioner £20
How Instagram worthy is this lil luxurious lip balm?! I LOVE lipbalms and I really want to invest into a pricier one, don't get me wrong I do love a classic carmex and a vaseline but there's just something about this particular balm that I actually don't mind paying out that extra amount.

Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate £49
This skincare goody is loved by MANY and I have read so many good reviews about it too! I heart the packaging of this bottle and the pipette makes this so much more fancier to use. I really want to invest into more skincare products and I think this product makes a good start.

Tom Lipstick £27
Ahh Tom Ford, this has everything you could possibly want from a lipstick, from the gold/black packaging to the gorgeous selection of lip colours. I really want to own atleast one.. well, for now anyway ;-)

Clarins Multi-Active Jour and Multi- Active Nuit Creams

When Clarins and skincare combine then you can expect magic to happen and this duo mean business!
Their new Multi active day and night creams aims to diminish the very first signs of aging, restore radiance, maintain youthful looking skin and hydrate too! These have been described as multi-tasking skincare which helps keep you in mind since we all have such a busy lifestyle.
There are three versions of the Multi-Active Jour (one for all skintypes, one for dry skin and one that contains SPF20) There are also two versions of the Multi-Active Nuit (one for normal to combination skin and one for normal to dry skin)

Product descriptions:
New Multi-Active Day cream for all skin types prevent and visibly correct the appearance of fine lines thanks to new Myrothamnus extract. The new extract minimises the impact of daily stress to help keep skin smooth and radiant. With technology powered by plant extracts and the latest breakthroughs in botanical research, these treatments visibly diminish the first signs of ageing, restore radiance, hydrate and maintain younger looking skin.
The nourishing Multi-Active Night cream contains new Golden poppy extract which revitalises and protects the skin to reduce signs of lack of sleep. Preventing and visibly correcting the appearance of fine lines, while comforting the skin. With technology powered by plant extracts and the latest breakthroughs in botanical research, these treatments visibly diminish the first signs of ageing, restore radiance, hydrate and maintain younger looking skin.

I received both the creams a while ago but I really wanted to test these out for a while before reporting back and it was definitely worth the time.
The two creams that I have are the Multi-Active Jour for all skin types and the Multi-Active Nuit for normal to combination skin.
I absolutely LOVE the packaging. It looks so great on my dresser too! The weighty glass jars comes in two colours, the day cream in pastel pink and the night cream in dark blue. When I opened the boxes, the cream came with a sample sachet of the other cream so you are able to try both which was a neat idea. These may not be the most easiest travel friendly products but you can always depot it into some cute lil pots which are easily available.

The Clarins Multi-Active Jour (Day Cream 50ml) is such a pleasant cream to apply every morning. I actually look forward to using it prior to applying any make-up and it sure helps make my skin alot easier to work with when applying products. This cream is actually quite thick and for a day cream you would expect it to be alot lighter in consistency but don't let that turn you away because it felt so light on the skin and it melts away instantly. The cream has a delightful floral fragrance and as soon as I apply this my skin feels soothed and hydrated. The formula is so gentle but effective. My skin instantly looks ready to face another day and my dehydrated patches of skin visibly vanished too!

The Clarins Multi-Active Nuit (Night Cream 50ml) sure is a lovely addition to my night time skincare routine. This one is literally like a hug in a tub kinda product because this cream gives ultimate nourishment and hydration. The consistency is more gel-like and alot lighter compared to the Multi-Active Jour. The scent is very fresh/herbal and it even contains California Poppy which is a flower that regenerates at night, it is proven that it compensates for the harmful effects of late nights and interrupted sleep. So just like the flower I honestly feel that my skin has seen a change, my skin feels softer and smoother and it takes away any dry patches too.

I honestly think this is the perfect skincare duo out there! I really enjoy using these both creams daily and I definitely will continue to do so, These creams definitely deliver the results without the greasy feelin' factor or feeling like your drowning in face creams. My skin hasn't looked this good in such a while! A definite recommendation!

Check it out here and here - £42* day cream and £44* night cream.

Zara, Primark and H&M Haul

Oops I did it again... I know, I know. I posted a haul last week but this was so not planned *worst excuse ever* It's OK to treat yourself once in a while... or a few times in a month. I visited three stores that I regularly pop into and well I picked up some rather cute things.

Zara City Cross Body Bag £19.99

I always buy my handbags from Zara because the bags from there are top quality and stylish too. I normally opt for blush pink/nude coloured bags but I decided to go for the gorgeous brown option. The size is great and I know I will be able to fit everything in it. LOVE IT!

Primark Pink Heart Shaped Cushion £3.00
Primark Scented Candle x2 Sea Salt & Lavender and Lotus Flower £2.50

I'll be honest I didn't really need another cushion but this one was oh-so cute! Pastel pink, fluffy and heart-shaped, what's not to love?
I bought a candle from Primark before and I loved it so I needed to stock up, I chose these two scents from the range and I like the colours, it really brightens up my bedroom too!

H&M Aztec Print Cardigan - On sale, was £12.99 now £5
H&M Red Peplum Top - On sale, was £12.99 now £4
H&M Mini Eyes Keychain £3.99
H&M Rose Lipbalm £1.99

The clothes that I had picked up were such star buys! Both pieces feel like really good quality and for the price, I just could not resist. Perfect for my summer wardrobe.
H&M beauty is so underrated and I was amazed at all of the cute things they had in store. I picked up the rose shaped lipbalm and the mini eye make-up keychain because they make such great handbag essentials and for on the go, I can just carry the minis instead of full sized eye make-up products. I am yet to try it all and I will definitely review it soon!

March Favourites

Products featured this month:
Soap & Glory Handfood
AHAVA Gentle Eye Cream
Revlon Concealer
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
Unicorn Earphones
Front and Back Earrings

Welcome to a brand new monthly favourites post! I haven't posted this in so long and it's only because I have been using pretty much the same beauty products but this month saw change and I definitely wanted to share with you all my most recent beauty and lifestyle faves.

Soap & Glory Handfood
I always try to apply hand creams often throughout the day and well, ever since I have been using the Soap and Glory handcream, I don't think I ever want to change it. From the gorgeous scent to the luxurious texture, this cream ticks all of the boxes plus this travel sized version is great to pop into your handbag.

AHAVA Gentle Eye Cream
I have been using this stuff religiously throughout March and I have definitely seen and felt a difference in my eye area. This is so hydrating and so light in texture that it doesn't even feel greasy at all. I use this twice daily and I honestly love it! Such a comforting and soothing eye cream.

Revlon Concealer
My Maybelline fit me concealer had run out and luckily I had this as a spare in my stash, I used it before and I remember putting it away but now I just can't seem to get enough of this stuff! This concealer really reminds me of the Bobbi Brown face touch up stick. This concealer is so creamy and I would say it's medium coverage but buildable. I think I have a new favourite that replaces my old choice!

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
This stuff has changed my life! I used to use 2/3 skincare products to remove make-up and it was such a chore but this is so quick and easy to use that I actually enjoy taking my make-up off. This removes everything and makes your skin look and feel clean and fresh. I need to stock up!

Unicorn Earphones
I picked up this cute item from Primark recently and it sure does make listening a whole lot cuter! I love pastels so I definitely had to buy this! This also means that I can store away my boring ol' phone earphones. Pretty and functional.

Front and Back Earrings
I had been meaning to try out this earring trend for a while now and luckily, I spotted these in River Island. I just love the gold/purple combination and it looks so cute on too! I've been wearing them alot ever since I've bought them.

So there you have it! Just some of my favourites! What have you been loving in the month of March?
