The Ultimate Girly Christmas Gift Guide

Not so long ago I put up a stocking fillers for her guide (read it here) and I wanted to complete the series by featuring some well known beauty brands for a christmas gift guide. With so many brands on sale and with countless offers and deals, this is the perfect time to grab those gifts since it's just less than a week left until the big day.

Firstly, I want to thank all of the companies who have sent me press releases for this guide and for my stocking fillers post, this truly was such a fun series to photograph and it meant that I could experiment with my photos and props so without further delay, I present to you. My ultimate girly christmas gift guide.

Starting off this insanely cute gift inspiration, I was sent a huge box full of goodies from the lovely team at I Love Cosmetics. They have released alot of fun giftsets this year that ranges from candles to body washes. The Raspberry Ripple gift set comes with a huge full sized Raspberry Ripple shower and bath creme (500ml) along with a pastel pink shower puff, now I don't know about you but this screams cuteness! This very fruity bath product is the perfect choice for that pink lovin' gal in your life. Check it out here - link /£5.00*

Calling all sweet scent lovers, the Bilou range* is worth checking out and if you ask me, I would definitely buy a trio of products and wrap it up beautifully. You can easily find the whole range at Superdrug. Loads of skincare brands are releasing shower foams lately but these are the only ones you need to try. Not only that, Bilou have some cute 2 in 1 body sprays, the fizzy berry really makes me smell like vimto! A vegan and cruelty free company that needs to be under the tree this christmas. Check it out here - link /all products are £3.99*

How about adding some make-up brushes to your gift shopping, I have found Bella and Bear to be such good quality make-up brushes that are super soft and make applying your make-up a dream and achieve flawless finishes too! The two brushes are called angled kabuki foundation brush and a angled blusher/contouring blush. This company is vegan friendly which is great to know. I currently use this duo daily and the brushes are so sturdy and it seriously feels so expensive! You can buy the range on amazon, both brushes retail for £10.99* and you can check it out here - link

A personal favourite of mine, be creative and give someone some prints! Printiki* is the place to easily print off photos from your phone and instagram. The photos above are from my instagram and these mini prints are perfect to give or you could make a cute personalised scrapbook with the prints. The price starts from as little as £5.50 and you get 20 prints! You can also choose from different sizes and borders, I opted for a striking black border just to make the prints stand out more. I love the size of these too! You can keep them in a book or hang them around.

Back to I Love Cosmetics and they also have a brand new home scents range, big candles and stylish reed diffusers all in their popular scents, the same scents that are available in their bath products which is great because for example you might love their violet dreams scent and you would want your room to smell like it too. All candles and reed diffusers are £15 each and this would make a fabulous gift for that home decor loving person... or maybe for yourself? the products truly feel luxurious and for the fraction of the price, you are getting scented products that actually leave a long lasting scent, not only that how cute is the drawstring bag that comes with the candle?! Check it out here - link and here - link oh and I need to quickly add that if you order by midday on the 21st of December you will qualify for christmas delivery so you can be assured that your gifts will arrive on time.

Lastly give the gift of me time to someone you love, these lovely pamper sets are just adorable! Each set includes a beautifully scented body wash (100ml) and votive candle (50g) in the same fantastic fragrance. Designed for everyday use. These I LOVE products contains no parabens, silicones, microbeads or animal ingredients and are vegan friendly. This duo would make the perfect choice, my personal favourite is the vanilla milk and you can choose from six scents. I was sent two vanilla milk* and exotic fruits* each giftset is £10* and you can check it out here - link and here - link

Asda Moisture Bath Soak Review

Don't you just love it when you end up buying something on a whim and then you end up loving it! My usual radox bubble bath had run out so I needed to buy another one but this one really caught my eye and at that moment, I put this in my basket and I am so glad I did. I absolutely LOVE this!!

Product description:
With luxurious calendula and rose extracts. Immerse yourself in a comforting bath to help your skin feel supremely pampered.

The pearlescent baby pink really called out my name, well anything in pink generally does and the cute font and illustration made me pick this up in store and then straight into my basket. Once I know a product works really well I hardly swap and change it to try something else out. This has now replaced my current favourite!

The bath soak really smells like parma violet sweeties which is perfect if you prefer sweeter scents, The Rose and Calendula extracts really works well together and Rose is known for it's hydrating and moisturising properties and it so happens to be one of my most favourite scents.

I always pick super moisturising and hydration skin care for the body and this is the perfect addition to my skincare and a new essential for my pamper sessions.

When I poured this into the water and swirled the water to create bubbles, I was amazed. It created so many bubbles and I didn't even use that much! Bath soaks can be a hit or miss and it usually just means that you need to try out as many products as you can before settling for one. This makes more bubbles than a Lush bubble bar! There I said it. No exaggeration but this is the only bath soak you need to keep in your bathroom.

The soft and sweet smelling bubbles feel oh-so soft and this was such a moisturising bath. Literally felt like a hug-in-a-tub kinda product. This has such an uplifting and comforting scent, you'll instantly feel like your worries have drifted away and you'll feel refreshed and ready to face the next day.

Now you will be thinking that this must be a pricey bath product but I can reveal that this only costed 0.43p!!! *gasps* and is available at all Asda Stores. After using this, my mentality about priced products has really changed for example a £10 bubble bath could turn out to be completely rubbish. Best is to buy it and try, just like I did. Happy to have discovered this gem!

Have you tried this bath soak?

Stocking Fillers For Her

Welcome to the most fun stocking filler ideas post ever! With just around two weeks left until Christmas, there is still time to grab these perfect gift ideas for the very beauty conscious person in your life. I wanted to put this post together so that you can see how easy it is to find products to put into the stockings and still be purse friendly! All of the products that are featured in this post are all under and around £10 which gives you a good range to look at and still include some of the top brands in beauty! Yay!

So sit back and let me help you find some of what I believe will make great stocking ideas that you can easily find and purchase!

For the face mask lover! Nothing beats a good ol' face mask and the ones I recommend are from Montagne Jeunesse and Soap and Glory! Both are very affordable and would make a great addition inside a stocking. These two would make a great duo to add together, Montagne Jeunesse White Chocolate face mask - £1.00 and Soap and Glory Puffy Eye Attack - £3.50* are both such fun and girly products that everyone will use and enjoy! I use both of these brands alot and their skincare is spot on!

For the branded skincare fanatic... meet Estee Lauder Perfectly Clean - £8.00 a perfect option if you really want to add a bit of FABULOUS into someone's stocking, This really deluxe sized face mask/cleanser is a 2 in 1 product that can be used as a daily cleanser or can be used as a face mask. I wanted to include this because you can still add branded cosmetics/skincare without worrying about the huge price tag, minis are a really good idea if you really want to surprise her and it's a good way of trying out a product before committing to a full sized one. I bought this as this had a gift with purchase offer, you can never have enough minis. I just love them!

Got a lipbalm lover in your life? well look no further because this is the one you NEED to buy, The Dr Paw Paw red sparkle is just like the regular yellow version but this is slightly tinted, a lovely festive red with specks of gold glitter in the formulation! It's out of stock on the original website but I have found some on amazon, click here to check it out - £7.75* Such cute festive packaging and glitter is very fitting for this time of the year.

Another mini and this one is great for Pixi beauty lovers or for who wants to try Pixi and are not sure what to try first. The Pixi Retinol Tonic 100ml - £10* which I have reviewed here is a star product for me. The mini tonic will bound to be your recipient's new fave! It is such a lovely size and I definitely think you get enough to properly try it out. This is the new tonic that has been added to the Pixi skin tonic family and I just cannot get enough of these tonics!

For that body wash lover! I Love Cosmetics have had a redesign and I am loving it! They cover everything from sweetly scented body washes and body butters to floral candles and reed diffusers!! The Violet Dreams body wash 360 ml - £6.50* would really make that gal happy! This really smells like parma violet sweeties and this body wash lathers up so well with so many bubbles and with the added Pro Vitamin B5, your skin will be feeling oh so sof! If you spend over £25 on the I Love Cosmetics website, you'll get free delivery and two body wash samples, one is pictured above and it's still a great size.

Lastly no stocking will be complete without a cute Soap and Glory gift! I have reviewed three gift sets that are all within the £10 range and you can read that post here. Soap and Glory Christmas 2018 has such a lovely range of gifts that start from as little as £6! My personal favourite is the Merry Kiss-Much which is a lovely cute decoration to hang too! It contains a mini kohl liner and a mini plumping lipgloss. It's so good you will want to keep it for yourself!

So there you have it, my stocking filler ideas for her, I really hope that this has helped in some way. It's a great time to get creative with your gifts and oh, I almost forgot.. don't forget to add in some chocolate coins too!

Too Faced Hangover Primer Review

Now I'll be honest, I always used to skip the priming part of my daily make-up routine. I guess I used to look at it as an extra optional step that took time but I have really upped my make-up applying game by adding in all the extras and I am so glad to have included a primer because this really does make a difference in creating the perfect and flawless canvas to apply the rest of my make-up and what better primer to use than the Too Faced Hangover Primer. This. Stuff. Is. Amazing.

Product description:
Our replenishing face primer is your instant cure. It hydrates, smooths and brightens skin for a dewy, healthy looking finish.
Hydrates and boosts skin's radiance, promotes skin's elasticity, soothes and smooths the skin and is infused with hydrating coconut water.
Our Inspiration This revolutionary makeup primer was created to give you all the priming benefits you love while helping you look like you received eight hours of sleep and drank your daily dose of H2O. Formulated without gluten and paraben. Cruelty free and suitable for vegans!

I absolutely adore the packaging! The pink and white combination is a perfect match and I love how informative it is too!
The primer is colourless and has no scent but I think it would of been great if it had a scent. The primer contains coconut water so it would of been great if it was coconut scented, but scent or no scent. I really love how this performs it truly helps hide away late nights hence why it is called hangover.
The consistency is light and blends away easily. It does not in any way feel sticky or greasy which is a huge plus! Other primers I have used in the past were not that good and I think that's why I gave up on primers.
It really revives tired skin and gives back the lost glow, if your skin is overworked this will be a pure treat for your skin and you will see the results too! The added coconut water and probiotics help to brighten and smooth the skin with alot of added moisture.
I have been applying this before foundation and concealer and I can definitely say that my skin feels really comfortable, moisturised and pores are really minimised!
It makes my make-up stay on much longer and it gives me a really lovely dewy and plump look that masks away late nights/overworked skin. This is basically a potion that really does what it is supposed to. I am so going to purchase the full size once I have finished this one. I just cannot believe that I didn't try this sooner!!

Check it out here - link // £12 for a travel sized primer and £27 for a full sized primer. Available to buy online and at Debenhams, Selfridges,ASOS and Cult Beauty.
