New In The Beauty Drawers #1

Hello pretty new series!! Other than sharing beauty and lifestyle reviews with you, I also want to share some of the new and recent beauty purchases and this feature is just that! I hope this will be an endless series and if you are nosy like me and love to see what other people buy then this series is perfect for you!

I bought these products a few months ago before flying out but I didn't get a chance to feature it on Bows and Pearls.
Luckily I took some photos before flying out..

Most of the products featured here are from Poundland, believe it or not! The Unicorn face sheet masks, pastel pink nail polish, L'Oreal topcoat glitter mascara, L'Oreal satin lip colour and the pink heart shaped bath bomb were all found in my local Poundland. Talk about finding hidden gems! The mini baby blue nail polish is from Primark and the Skinnydip lip kit is from Boots.

I have already used a few products and I really love the glitter topcoat mascara simply because I live for glittery make-up! There wasn't any other colours available but I quite liked this emerald green since it's quite striking. It's nice to find bath bombs too, Lush have ridiculously upped the prices on their bath bombs so I am definitely looking for alternatives. If you know of or love another company other than Lush, please let me know in the comments!
The pastel pretty unicorn face sheet masks caught my eye straight away and I picked up two! I will be reviewing these soon. So insta worthy too!
I still love lip kits and it's fun to try out different brands. The Skinnydip kit has an insane amount of pigmentation and the lip liner is great to wear on it's own or if you want to gently add colour to your lips.
You will definitely see these beauty products on the blog in the upcoming weeks, so many cute things to review. if you have a particular item that you are interested in the most then please let me know so I can review that first <3

Hope you enjoyed this post from the new series, stay tuned for the second instalment!

Fresh Rose Face Mask* Review

Face masks are something I use weekly, without fail and I always stick to a few brands and never really change what I use and try something new. A few weeks ago, this cute little pot arrived in my mail from Fresh Beauty and I was super excited to try it out since I have heard so many good things about it.

I know of Fresh Beauty but I haven't tried any of the ranges within skincare, Fresh is known as a brand that mixes ancient beauty rituals with modern science and technology. They do so in a very effective and relevant way. One of their most popular products is the Rose Face Mask, described as "a unique gel formula infused with real rose petals and pure rosewater that hydrates and tones the complexion."

The one collection that I really want to try more of is the Rose collection, I love using skincare products with Rose in it since it really suits my skin type and I have seen a huge difference to my overall complexion.

More about the key ingredients that are in this ever so popular face mask...
Pure rosewater is notable for its soothing and toning properties.
Cucumber extract and aloe vera gel help soothe the skin and have an immediate cooling and calming effect.
Porphyridium cruentum, a "smart" algae, delivers optimum moisture.
Antioxidant-rich green tea helps to brighten and protect.

When I first opened up the pot I wasn't really expecting anything special but I was amazed at the appearance of the face mask, the jam-like texture has real rose petals, rose water and algae infused into the face mask. it was really refreshing to see a product that wasn't just a coloured paste. This is the mask to use if you are looking to add moisture back into your skin and top up on your skin hydration levels. This can be used on any skin type which is great and it's even suitable for sensitive skin types.
Application was a breeze, really easy to apply to. What I loved about this mask was the cooling effect that you feel as soon as the mask comes into contact with the skin. I like to really leave this on my face just to maximise the benefits, I leave it on for 20 minutes and after rinsing my face my skin feels supple and oh-so soft. The mask also brightens my complexion and keeps dryness at bay, like far... very very far! With continuous usage I know my skin's texture and appearance will improve alot, this may be a small pot but I was able to use it for quite some time, I have now finished the whole pot and I know I will be purchasing the full-sized. I was so impressed with everything, from the overall appearance to how it made my skin feel and look. The hype is real and I definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking to try a new face mask or if you are looking for something to comfort the dryness of your skin. Fresh Beauty is now on the top of my to try list.

Have you tried this Rose face mask from Fresh Beauty?
