Montagne Jeunesse Coconut Cream Face Mask Review

If you know me well then you will know that I am a huge fan of pamper evenings and Montagne Jeunesse face masks.
Whilst perusing in Asda, I saw this and immediately popped this into my shopping basket, I absolutely adore coconut scents and I could not wait use this again. I have used many Montagne Jeunesse masks before but this one is definitely one of my most used/faves.
At such a cheap price (£1) You really cannot go wrong, it doesn't break the bank and you can also get away with two uses.

Product Description
We’ve harnessed the hydrating goodness of fresh coconut water and shea butter to provide a hydrating and soothing treatment. Try our coconut oil face mask for a boost of moisture your skin will love.

Before applying the mask, I cleansed my skin to get rid of my day make-up and to ensure that the mask had a clean base to work it's magic on.
Once opening the packet, the incredible smell of coconuts was unleashed, I cannot tell you how scrummy the scent actually was. It just simply smelt like coconut buttercream and if you love coconut scents then this is truly the one to pick up.
Not only did the scent made me feel super relaxed but the actual formulation of the mask was like applying a light and hydrating face cream. It did not in any way feel heavy or uncomfortable.

I kept this on for around 25 minutes and I remember the same ones in the past were made out of clay, they have been reformulated to a cream based mask which means it won't dry. I was quite pleased about this because I personally don't like the feeling of clay masks drying on my skin, feels abit uncomfortable so I was very glad to have this cream based mask work it's magic and it felt super soothing too!

So once my face was washed and the mask was removed, I was immediately impressed by the results. My complexion looked healthier, clean, soft and brighter!! My skin was by no means red or irritated, my skin just felt oh so hydrated and plump that it literally felt as if my skin drank the coconutty goodness.
No doubt I will keep on re-purchasing as this makes a lovely lil pamper treat to look forward to every week. I saw the results immediately and I definitely recommend this to all you face mask fanatics out there!

My mini review of the ModernMatte Powder Lipstick
The Shiseido Modern Matte Powder Lipstick is a super lightweight comfortable lipstick with a true matte finish. It is super creamy and it glides effortlessly onto the lips without feathering. There is no scent or any flavour at all. This is a sample size but the full sized lipstick has a magnetic case that feels thick, slightly heavy, and overall very good quality. The shade range is amazing and are all well-pigmented, wearable, and just beautiful. I was sent the shade 529 Cocktail Hour and it is the PERFECT RED for evenings out. The formula does transfer but only a little bit and it lasts pretty much the whole day on me. I may have to retouch a tiny bit after eating but still, the colour stays on my lips. Also, this lipstick might slightly emphasize the lips’ fine lines, but this never made my lips dry at all.
This lipstick’s shape reminds me a bit of the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution lipsticks but I find this lipstick to be alot better in terms of texture, comfort and wear time, plus, this lipstick is way cheaper. Lastly I just want to point out that the shape of the actual lipstick bullet is so good because you can really apply with so much precision that you won't even need to use a lipliner! I am amazed that no one has really spoken about this award-winning lipstick because it's definitely one of the best matte lipsticks I’ve ever tried.

My mini review of the Shimmer GelGloss
The Shiseido Shimmer GelGloss in 07 Shin-Ku Red is a tinted red gloss with ultra fine gold glitter running through it. A super hydrating gloss provides a wet-like finish that looks ultra shiny. The non-drying formula can be worn as a top coat and it creates the illusion of fuller lips. It is weightless, moisturising, glides on nicely. You cannot feel the glitter on your lips so it's nothing to worry about. Just like the lipstick, this also has no scent. When worn, it feels super light, you don't feel the weight of the gloss and you don't need to worry about the stickiness too! Yay! At first glance, I honestly thought that the lipgloss would be super dark red in colour but it's actually more wearable and can flatter any skintone. I love that Shiseido have added gold shimmer into this gloss as it really compliments the red and looks amazing on.

I really enjoyed wearing both lip products, they last long, application is a breeze and the colour pay off is really commendable. I think I will definitely add Shiseido to my favourtie brands list, it needs to be spoken about more! I just cannot find a fault in either of the products and I want to try more in the range. Well done Shiseido!
