GoBo Deodorising Fluid With Rosewater* Review

Hi lovelies, I hope you all are well!

I have been abit mia here but the holy month of Ramadhan is upon us so I have been super busy in that but I wanted to type my thoughts on this amazing deodorant sent by the lovely people at Lamonts and Co/Howling Moon PR. It was definitely worth talking about so let's read more about GoBo and how they are different compared to other leading skincare brands..

The next generation in natural deodorant.

GoBo is the perfect companion to detox your underarms from years of heavy deodorant use in order to switch to a natural aluminium free deodorant. Detoxing your underarms can help rid your body of product build up which can actually make smell worse and make deodorants less effective.
“Underarms are meant to sweat naturally but that doesn't mean you have to smell by the end of the day”

Glycolic acid detox deodorant for deep stubborn sweat and grime build up.
Create beautifully smooth and soft underarms that can sweat naturally without any odour.
Say good bye to pigmentation and ingrowing hairs forever and discover baby soft underarms that you never thought possible.
Glycolic acid kills bacteria deep in the epidermis and gently exfoliate the top layer of skin, removing dead skin cells.

Functional deodorant:
• No scent necessary to mask odour
• Aluminium free
• Paraben free
• Alcohol free
• Essential oil free
Added benefits include:
• Prevents in growing hairs and painful blocked sweat glands
• Fades dark pigmentation caused by shaving

Before I start my review I just found out that this deodorant has been voted #1 by Good Housekeeping! Now this isn't your average deo.. it is simply so much more!
Let's first understand the difference between Deodorant and Antiperspirants. Antiperspirants contain aluminium this helps to prevent you from sweating. Deodorants, on the other hand, work to mask or neutralise the smell of body odour.
The Rose* GoBo is my new go to and I opted to try this since it is one of my favourite scents. It's very gentle and the roll on passes just the right amount of product on your under arm area. It isn’t sticky or runny and it doesn’t leave your under arm feeling wet as it instantly dries into the skin. The deodorants contain glycolic acid to kill bacteria deep in the epidermis and gently exfoliate the top layer of skin, removing dead skin cells. It's like a daily pamper to your under arms, something traditional deodorants don't do.
There are four scent options to choose from Original (Unscented), Orange Blossom, Jasmin and Rose and they are priced at £9.99 each and available from Amazon.
In terms of scent this is very subtle, but it's a good thing as it won't overpower any perfume or fragrance that you might be wearing.
After application, it instantly makes me feel super fresh and I honestly do feel fresh throughout the day, I would say it lasts around the 8 -12 hour mark before having to reapply it again. I don't usually perspire alot but this definitely makes me feel different in a sense that I feel more fresher than when I use my usual spray on deodorant. The added goodness is that it also gently exfoliates the skin too, which means no more ingrown hairs and pigmentation will be gone too! This cruelty free product is definitely maybe the only deodorant you could ever need and I honestly don't think I will be going back to my spray on since this doesn't feel like you are piling on the product to simply mask any odour, it just feels like it tackles the perspiration from the root and sorting ingrown hairs, if any.

I definitely, without a doubt will recommend this natural deodorant to all! It seems to be working for me and I agree with the claims given to this product. Hats off to the creators of this deodorant, it's about time we had some "back to basics" skincare that actually works without the need for any chemicals and artificial nasties.

Shop Small Businesses | Tara Cosmetics

Hi lovelies, hope you all are well!

Today's post is about small business appreciation. The other day I was browsing local makeup businesses and this one really caught my eye. The pink aesthetic, the handmade lipglosses and the way Tara Cosmetics advertised her products. It wasn't even my intention to buy anything but then within the next minute, I added two lipglosses into my cart and I am so glad I did.

Tara has really put so much effort into her packaging too! I love how everything matched so well, from the ever so cute pink paper bag, thank you stickers, the business card and the extras that came in my parcel too. It's so nice when businesses add a lil extra. I got two adorable stickers and a jolly rancher candy, how sweet?!

Now onto the actual lipglosses, I chose the strawberry shortcake (on the left £2.80) and floral (on the right £2.49) I really adore both of these, the strawberry shortcake is super moisturising and has the most yummiest scent ever, smells just like sweet strawberries and the scent isn't even overpowering. This has a slight light pink tint but it comes out slightly clear on the lips. The cute strawberry decals adds a nice touch and makes it a visually pretty product to look at. I love how you can choose which packaging you want the lipgloss to come in, I chose the candy tube.
Floral is such a stunning gloss, this rose scented gloss is so hydrating and I love how you can see the dried rose petals and gold leaf. When I checked the ingredients, I was amazed that it didn't even contain that many things, just good old fashioned natural/organic oils and flavourings.
The price is just right because you get quite alot of gloss for the price and for the effort that is put into making these. Tara Cosmetics also sells other aesthetically pretty lipglosses and body butters so it's a lovely range of face and body products to try out.

I would definitely recommend checking out Tara Cosmetics, there is something for everyone and you wouldn't be disappointed! I love my products so much and I keep my lipglosses in my purse at all times.

Until next time! Take care you lovely lot! xx

Boots Beauty Haul

Hi lovelies, hope you all are well!

Bringing it back to what I love to post, a haul! A while back I visited my Boots store to simply pick up a pack of face wipes but then I ended up browsing the make-up section and I came back with some new products *major face palm*

It ok though since there was on offer on many brands plus I needed a new eyebrow pencil. You honestly just cannot win.

So here's a round up of what I bought!

Soap and Glory Archery Pencil in 'Brown'

Sleek Matte Me Lip Cream in 'Birthday Suit'

Frank Body Original Lip Scrub

Soap and Glory Archery Pencil £6.66* was a third off!

I really love S&G but one product I didn't try was this. It was meant to be because only these were on offer and the shade matches the colour of my brows. On one side of the pencil you have the highlighter that is used to create the illusion of higher and tidier brows and the other, a brow shade to fill and define the brows. The formulation is very workable, creamy and a great product to use on the go.

Sleek Matte Me Lip Cream in 'Birthday Suit' £2.49* was half price!

I have heard great things about Sleek's lip products and seeing as they were half price so why not. I opted for the shade Birthday Suit and it is such a me kinda shade. A warm nude rose pink that applies beautifully and is very pigmented! This is Sleek's no 1 best selling lip product and I can definitely see why! It feels super light and you don't even have to build up the colour. A great addition to my collection and I will, for sure check out the other colours.

Frank Body Original Lip Scrub £11.95

A lip scrub was on my to buy list, I have heard of Frank Body before but I have never tried anything from them. This lip scrub is so nice! Smells like coffee beans  and doesn't feel harsh when scrubbing. It's a good size and great for travelling with too! This Australian beauty company has such a cute pink aesthetic and this lip scrub is loved by many. It's even cruelty free!

So that was my mini and very accidental beauty haul haha! Have you tried any of the products that I have bought? Comment below!

H&M Beauty Review

Hi lovelies! Hope you all are safe and well!

Back to my most favourite type of post, a make-up review! I was purchasing some clothes in the winter sale and I was curious to see what was in the beauty section, some of the products were 30 to 50 percent off and the two products that really caught my eye was the concealer and the blusher. I have never tried H&M beauty before so I was definitely excited to see how they would perform along with my other daily favourites.

Product description:

A creamy concealer with a practical cushion applicator for medium, buildable coverage with a natural finish. The lightweight formula helps to correct minor imperfections and dark circles under the eyes. 2.2 ml. How to use: Apply on its own or after foundation or primer.

A soft powder blusher that blends easily for a natural, healthy-looking glow. The sheer formula offers buildable coverage and comes in an array of elegant shades to match any skin tone. 5 g. How to use: Apply alone or after face primer and powder.

First up, the concealer! I was really confused as to what shade to choose because I never buy foundation/concealer online, I was too afraid of the shade being too light or to dark but after a careful judgement I opted for the shade 'Soft Sand' and after ordering I just kept thinking that I really hope it matches my skin tone because I really needed a daily concealer to use. When it arrived I quickly opened up the packaging and swatched it on my face and I cannot tell you how relieved I was to see that it actually matched my skin tone perfectly! I was yet to find one that actually matched me properly without having to mix it with another shade. So after testing the colour match I went on and applied it under my eyes and wherever I felt there was some redness. This concealer is super creamy and a dream to blend! It really reminds me of the Nars radiant creamy concealer which used to be my holy grail until I converted to the Make Up Revolution concealer loving community. This feels super light, not greasy at all and covers up pretty much any imperfection so well. The best part? it only costs £6!! I also forgot to mention that the applicator is so good! It's bendy so you are able to apply the concealer easily in all contours and corners, if this had a stiff applicator I would have had to use a brush to apply and blend but I found that it doesn't require so much effort as my other concealer.

It doesn't crease into any fine lines and feels super hydrating too! The consistency and texture really was fabulous and just like a high end product, this truly lived up to it's product claims.

Now what I really loved about this is that it looks so dewy yet natural on me, perfect for the no make-up make-up look if that is what you are trying to achieve. I don't like or wear heavy make-up so this is perfect for my make-up bag and I have been reaching out to it daily ever since! In total there are a huge 23 shades available in the range which is pretty good for a high street brand. You will definitely find a shade to suit your skintone, from the fairest of skintones to the most deepest.

Now onto the blusher! This product really caught my eye, from the shape of the compact to the range of colours. The glossy black hexagon shape really stands out from the rest and I love that the h&m logo in placed right in the middle. The compact also has a very good sized mirror and I chose the shade 'Hot Pink' and this shade literally screams barbie vibes! I love a good deep pink blush since it makes you look so fresh and healthy. The pigment is very buildable and you can totally decide the look you are going for, from just a pop of colour to a full on look. The pigment is ultra fine and silky and so easy to use. I actually feel like it performs just like a high end blusher. I also noticed slight shimmer and it looks so gorgeous on. Nothing too glitzy but perfect! Altogether there are 14 shades to flatter any skin tone and this is currently half price too! At only £4 this is a real steal! Originally each blusher costs £8.99.

This was my first ever time trying H&M cosmetics and I truly am impressed. Both of the products have a really long lasting power, the packaging is well made, doesn't feel cheap and the texture and pigment of both the products feels so high end. I really think the product description matches it seamlessly and I know I will definitely try more products from H&M!

Have you tried the concealer or the blusher? let me know in the comments below!

Primark Beauty Pink Clay Pore Refining Facial Mask Review

Hi lovelies,

Hope you all are well and safe!

If you now me well you'll know that face masks are a part of my weekly pamper session, without a fail. I also LOVE trying out all sorts of masks from clay to sheet masks from different companies so I picked up a few from Primark before the lockdown and I also loved how the pink holographic packaging really stood out from the rest.

Seeing as it was only 80p, I really had no high expectations of this mask. This is a clay mask and is targeted towards minimising the pores and leaving your skin feeling super clean and bright too.
I loved the texture of this mask, it was super creamy and application was super easy and quick. I was able to get two usages out of the packet which is a plus! The mask had a fresh and floral scent which made me feel super relaxed. As soon as I applied it, it felt cooling for a few moments too!

I kept the mask on for at least 25 minutes, removed it with warm water and a wash cloth since this makes it easy for the removal process and it honestly made my complexion brighter, matte and super clean! The oil around my t zone (I have combination skin) was completely gone!! I feel that it did strip away some of the natural oils in my skin so I just topped up with my favourite daily vitamin C moisturiser and I was good to go.

I was super impressed with this face mask, I only picked it up because I thought the packaging was cute haha oh and maybe because it was pink... I will definitely grab a few once Primark reopens it's stores. Worth trying this one and it won't break the bank.

Have you tried this face mask from Primark before?

See you in the next post!

Fibre One Birthday Cake Square Review

Hi lovelies, hope you all are well!

Today's a different post for you all, I wanted to switch up the content a bit by adding in another fun food review. As soon as I tried this fibre one bar I decided straight away that I wanted to share my thoughts on it. I remember seeing this on someone's Instagram story and I wanted to try it since it looked super cute. I am a huge fan of sweet treats with sprinkles/funfetti food so I knew I would love this!

Product description:
We all need a moment (or two) each day to revel in a little indulgence. Our irresistible sweet treats taste so amazing it’s hard to believe each square is a 90 calorie snack. Deliciously satisfying and guaranteed to hit the spot, they’re baked naturally high in fibre and lower in fat**. So sit back, take a moment, and treat yourself to a little Guilt Free Indulgence!

This lil square is SO good! I couldn't believe how flavourful it was for just 90 calories! You would think that snacks with less calories would have no flavour whatsoever but this was so yum and a great alternative to a cake slice or a cookie.
This looks so pretty too! I love how you can see specks of colour and a drizzle of icing on top. It has a slight chewy texture and is surprising and satisfyingly sweet. This is lovely with a cup of tea. You get a similar taste of an actual birthday cake too! This had a sweet vanilla taste and the crunch of the sprinkles was very satisfying to eat. Each bar contains 6gs of fibre which is great, since you get the added goodness with a great tasting snack.

You get 5 individually wrapped bars in a box and I picked this up from Asda when it was on offer for a £1, normally they cost £3 a box! There are some other amazing versions that come in the range, chocolate brownie... lemon drizzle to name a few! I always make sure to keep my cupboard stocked up with these since they are such a nice treat to have now and then.

Have you tried this and what were your thoughts on it?

Hope you liked this food review!

P Louise Cosmetics

Hello lovelies,

Hope you all are safe and well!

Today's beauty post is all about a company that I am obsessed with. I first discovered P Louise a year ago on Instagram and since then I have been loving the products and the aesthetic. You can also find P Louise in Morphe stores. I first tried the most iconic product which is the P Louise base in the shade 2. This base product is loved by many muas and beauty lovers. I wanted to venture out and try some other popular eye products so I bought four to try.

Product description:

The P.Louise Baseic Winter Edition has been designed to inject flashes of colour into your eye makeup using the easiest method possible. The super creamy consistency allows you to create fluid, effortless designs in the blink of an eye. Challenge yourself and dare to break the rules of conventional makeup to create designs with increased vibrancy, sass and attitude with four beautiful pastel shades to equip you for the Winter season.

I treated myself to some to other goodies that I wanted to try and I made use of the black friday sale. P Louise always do the best black friday deals and with a queuing system on the site, it made it so much more fair and easier for everyone to shop. I chose three coloured eye bases in the shades: Hint Of Mint, Touch Of Frost and Winter Rose. All such pretty pastel shades that will definitely change my eye look game. Just like the base in shade 2, these are super creamy and very pigmented. A little goes a very long way with these products and you can also use these to cut the crease too!

Lastly I chose a product that I had my eye on since the launch and that is the very cute Crisp Finish Cosmetic Paint in Extra Spicy. It is a very beautiful baby pink colour and it comes with a adorable flat brush. I absolutely LOVE the packaging of this too. Looks just like a packet of crisps/chips!

Product description:

Like our existing stay in line paints its tear proof formula allows the product to give you full pigmentation in the waterline, cut crease, eye liner, body art, lipstick and more.. the possibilities are endless! The paints dry down completely matte in just 60 seconds so there is no need to layer shadow over the top, just simply paint on the lid for the quickest and easiest results. However you choose to snack on this product, its always a delicious finish.

I am so happy with my new sale purchases and I cannot wait to use them more often in my eye looks. I will be posting reviews and swatches of these products in another post since this was more of an insight and general thoughts post.
The pastel eye bases were for £5 each which really was such a bargain since they normally sell for a tenner each. I believe the crisp finish cosmetic paint only costed me around 11 pounds I believe which also was such an amazing deal since it comes with a brush too. What I love about P Louise products is the quality and longevity. You know you are paying for really good cosmetics and you can trust the performance on the products too. When I tried the eye base for the very first time, it really made my eye make-up last throughout the whole day and night!! It also made the pigment pop! I always make sure to use a eye primer but this is just something else and now I only use that eye base.

Have you tried P Louise products before? I would love to know!

See you in the next post!

Debenhams Beauty Club | Free Dior Samples

Hello lovelies! Hope you all are well!

Hope your 2021 is going well so far and hope you all stay safe! Here's some fresh new beauty content that I wanted to share with you all ok so if you are from the UK you will know that one of our biggest department stores has gone into administration and will be gone forever!

Debenhams has always been one of my favourite places to shop, whether it be clothes or make-up. I would always spend hours browsing, trying and swatching products. I have attended two beauty events in the past and I have had my brows done by the lovely girls at the Benefit counter. The place became so familiar to me and I knew where to go to buy a certain thing. Not only are all the stores closing but the online website will be gone soon too. Everything's on clearance so it's a great opportunity to grab a bargain.

So not only was Debenhams a great place to shop at but it also had something called Debenhams beauty club. The club enabled you to collect points to spend in store and alot of monthly beauty freebies that you had to go and collect in store. The samples were always so generous and from so many big names. From Kat Von D to Chanel. I made sure to try and get them all since it's always nice to try something before committing to a full sized product. In December, Debenhams gave out a very last sample box from Dior and it was kind of like a last gift you could say.

The sleek Dior pouch contained four samples. Two were perfume samples and the other two, mini beauty samples. A small firming face cream, a new mascara. A feminine perfume called J'adore and Sauvage a very popular perfume for men.

I am particularly loving the mascara, I have been using it often since I received it and I love how it separates and elongates each lash. This is more of a lengthening mascara then a volumizing one. I used the face cream a few times, it has a lovely fresh scent and it doesn't feel greasy at all. Something perfect to try if you are in your mid to late 20s.

Did you pick this up from Debenhams and what are you going to miss the most about Debenhams?

Lush Luxury Lush Pud Bath Bomb Review

Happy 2021 lovelies and here's some fresh content!

If it looks festive and pink, I gotta have it! Lush's infamous Luxury Lush Pud bath bomb is a very popular bath bomb that is released every year without any fail and this was my first ever! I usually opt for relaxing scents and colours but I really wanted to see the hype behind this particular bath bomb.

Product description:
Sweet blackcurrant and cypress oils blend in this Christmas bath bomb to soothe the body and give an energising lift. A plastic-free treat.

This bath bomb is so pretty and it definitely catches your eye! The bright pink with pops of blue, green, yellow and orange. So beautiful!

It’s been part of the Christmas range since 2013, to the delight of a lot of Lushies, including me. Some years this bath bomb has the The Comforter scent, some years they bring it out with the Twilight/Sleepy scent. This year, however, it contains the warm, berry scent of The Comforter.

As soon as I pop this into the water, there is a huge colour explosion. The pink mostly at first and then the other colours take over the surface. After a colourful and an aesthetically pleasing show which lasts for around 10 minutes I would say, you are then left with a bright pink bath!
Not only were the colours amazing but the scent too! The berry scent was super relaxing and comforting for me. It lasted throughout and even longer! Afterwards I wasn't able to detect the scent on my skin nor did it leave my skin feeling super soft so that let it down ever so slightly.
If you are looking for a fun bath product or to buy for some amazing photos then this is the one to buy but if you are looking for something with amazing skin benefits then I would give this one a miss. I personally would give this one a miss, there are more better festive bath bombs and the ones I particularly love are Golden Wonder and Shoot For The Stars.

Check it out here - link // £4.95 each

Have you tried this festive bath bomb from Lush?
